The camera has a high-resolution F2. 0 lens, maximum 8x zoom, true pic VIII, back-illuminated CMOS Image Sensor. It is waterproof up to 15 meters (50 feet), dustproof, shockproof up to 2.1 meters (7 feet), crushproof for 100kgf, freezeproof to temperatures of -10°C (14°F) and anti-fog.
The Olympus has 5 underwater shooting modes including underwater microscope, 3 underwater white balance modes, 4 macro shooting modes and magnified shooting up to 1cm from the end of the lens. The camera can record 4K movies and Full HD 120 fps high-speed movies.
